The high point for me in tonight's Democratic debate came in the very beginning when General Wesley Clark began his first answer by pointing out that Bush had been neither compassionate nor conservative; rather, the General said, Bush had been reckless. That was almost exactly what I said here back in July and the meme I suggested earlier this month.

I'm not sure if our likeness of thought bodes well or not for the General but this much is true: I've been aspiring to be a pundit much longer than he has been in politics.
